The effect of supplementary cementitious material systems on dynamic compressive properties of ultra-high performance concrete paste

Supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) have been widely used to replace cement in UHPC, which benefits reducing CO2 emissions and declining construction costs. However, the influence of SCMs on dynamic compressive properties Ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) paste has not well understood. Here, workability, pore structure, quasi-static strength UHPC with different SCM systems are comprehensively studied. The results show that substitution by ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) limestone powder (LP) increases workability. With rate 10% LP, microstructure M2 becomes denser. further increasing replacement GGBS porosity increases, while trend decrease, but extent is limited. such as strength, increase factor (DIF), peak strain toughness highly dependent rate. An applicable DIF model for established at 53.9 - 170.7 s?1. fractal dimension rising LP. Additionally, a positive linear relationship observed between denary logarithms
